    I think it’s important to remember that seeking asylum isn’t illegal, and as a country we have always benefited enormously from immigration.

    Detaining someone indefinitely however is
    illegal, inhumane and quite honestly fucked.

    I’m glad this man got justice and I hope it opens the floodgates for everyone else who we have unjustly imprisoned.

    Fascinating read. It makes me want to cry that the court did the right thing, and I’m a 42-year old man. There is hope against the fascist madness! I hope it opens the floodgates.

    Good. Sets a precedent for the others who are being kept illegally.

    Hopefully they can have their day in court and sue this shithole government for all the pain and suffering they have caused.
