And thus, the title of “Playoff P” was handed down from Paul to Porzingis

  2. BlazeBloom says

What a roller coaster of a series.

    ~~Clippers are getting swept~~

~~Luka is injured, Dallas is done~~

~~Dallas has all the momentum, Clippers are choking~~

Winning at home. Wait, that’s illegal.

  3. timgar18 says

Porzingis is paid more than Giannis. I think I’ve found your problem.

  4. suzukigun4life says

With 6:41 to go in the 3rd quarter, the Mavs had a 5-point lead. Over the next 10 minutes, they shot 3-17 from the floor, 0-6 from 3, missed both of their free throw attempts, had 3 turnovers and got outscored 32-6.

**Luke Kennard outscored the entire Mavs team during that span.** The Mavs tried to make a comeback but the hole was too big to dig out of. Man I feel sad right now. 😞

  5. theseus1234 says

Hey Mavs welcome to the “our entire team outside of our superstar shat the bed in an elimination game” club!

Sucks that your star ~~Dame~~ Luka got absolutely no help from your 2nd option ~~CJ~~ Porzingis or the bench and that resulted in a poor 2nd half performance because he was doubled and tired

    Kawhi when he’s down 0-2

  7. MakeAShadow says

Hey Mavs, would you care for a slightly used DeRozan for some picks and your 7’3″ SG?

  13. Tyler123839 says

Mavs really got 16 oreb and 46 pts from luka and still lost by 15

  15. Into_Intoxication says

The Mavericks out-rebounding the Clippers by 12 is like the most puzzling stat I’ve ever seen. Feels like the Mavs missed every contested rebound. Also the Clippers – Jazz might break the 3PA record, nothing but threes.

  16. kolsonk says

Luka needs help. Dame needs help. 🤔

  17. Balls_of_Adamanthium says

Who knew this series would turn into “first team to win a home game wins”

Luke Kennard should definitely request a pay rise this offseason.

I know this sub is sick rn y’all were praying hard for a sweep after 2-0

  22. ProfessorBeast55 says

How the Mavericks lost in an elimination game:

    -6 points by the bench

    -28% on 3s

    -Shameful rotations by Rick

    -65% on FTs

    -13 TOs

-Pisspoor defence in spurts of the game; gotta be consistent throughout

-Starters besides Luka and DFS didn’t do anything significant

  23. Caldris says

The Clips showed a lot of heart this series.

  24. Coded_Lyoko says

I enjoy watching the Los Angeles Clippers play basketball. They are my favorite NBA team.

When they score a basket, I think to myself “yes”.

When Luka Dončić is within 91.86 feet of a basketball, I think to myself “no”.

  25. bypaular says

Luka did everything he could. He was more than handful for us. Please Clippers, don’t ever tank to get this guy in the first round again. Mf is not just a fucking dog, he’s a motherfucking beast

  26. Mahomes_To_Hill2021 says

This Luka Kawhi rivalry is everything I wanted the LBJ Kawhi rivalry to be

  27. RVP_20_ says

Credit to Clippers for closing out the series but Luka deserves better. Mavs need to get him a better supporting cast.

  28. HOFredditor says

Tyronne Lue is the unsung hero this series. Made adjustments and went for the small ball lineup.

I can’t praise it enough. Obviously the Clippers were exceptionally hot tonight and Luka was still an unstoppable force (even with Kawhi defending), but Lue made adjustments during this series and it paid off. Get Pat Bev and Zubac out. Have Batum play the small ball 5 ( inspired by my man Draymond Green and countrymate Boris Diaw ). Batum held his own against Bobby and KP, and since game 4, the ball has been moving very smoothly. They absolutely made fun of the mavericks frontcourt on offense (especially KP). Drive and kick. Pass. Make the shots. They had to sacrifice rebounding for more defensive versatility. I hope people stop treating Ty Lue as a below average coach. He did great.

Shoutout to the clippers players as well. The role players absolutely stepped up. Kawhi is still Kawhi, and PG wasn’t as abysmal as last year (pretty decent I guess lol).

  29. RedditThisBiatch says

Kawhi is honesty the only Superstar in the league that has the expectations of guarding the opposing team’s best player while carrying his team on the offensive end.

Seriously, no other player is asked to do the same LOL.

Edit: I see some of y’all mentioned other 2 way players which is cool. But let’s keep it 💯, none of those players are being called out on national television to go guard the other team’s best player.

“The reports of home-court advantage’s death have been greatly exaggerated.”

-Morris, Mann, and Kennard taking turns making 3s

  34. ShadyIntentions says

Tons of credit to the Clippers. They were down 0-2 and down 19 points in game 3 and they dug deep, made adjustments and won the series.

And I know the Mavs aren’t in title or bust mode yet but this is still an incredibly disappointing result for them

  35. massproducerofwords says

This sub loves to shit on the Clippers but I won’t be surprised if they end up coming out of the West.

Kawhi is in imperious form, PG is playing well and the role players don’t look afraid of crunch time anymore. Their small ball lineup is also just so good both offensively and defensively.

Jazz vs clippers should be fun

So let me get this straight Reddit:

A close out game 7, prime time, and this thread only has 500 comments?

After game 1, 2, and 5 these comments were at 2.7K 20 minutes after the game ended.

    What happened?

  39. rushhourIV says

Kawhi is the MVP of the playoffs thus far.

Agree or disagree? If not, then who?

  40. killmonger81 says

Luka is the future of the NBA but I don’t wanna hear any “Luka owns the Clippers” comments anymore lmao

  41. huntsee says

    “PG played like shit”

*10 assists, 22 points, 4 steals, +11 on the floor*
